Samantha

Hello, my name is Samantha. My brother Marmalade and I lost our mother when we were very small kittens. (He tells you more about this.) We were rescued from a building site and went to live at Ladyshield. I love to climb and one sunny afternoon I was chasing butterflies. One of them flew over the cottage roof so I followed it. I managed to run up the stone on the gable end and tip toe along the very top of the roof. Then I scrambled up the chimney stack. The ground seemed such a long way away. I was frightened and began to cry. My new mum heard me and came looking for me so I cried louder. When she saw me I thought she would come and get me, but she went away. After what seemed like a very long time she returned with my new dad and some ladders. I meowed lots and ran round and round the chimney. My dad reached up and cradled me safely in his arms until I was back on the ground again. Now I only watch butterflies from inside the cottage.

This kit includes your choice of cream Zweigart 14 count aida or 28 count evenweave fabric. The threads are all DMC and are sorted on a card by both DMC number and by chart symbol. The chart provided is clear and large with black and white symbols. We supply six size 24 needles for your stitching convenience. Detailed make-up instructions for stitching your new kit are included.

Your kit comes to you in a handy plastic pouch which can be sealed to keep your work safe between your stitching sessions.

The main design uses only whole stitches. The whiskers and butterfly antennae are done with simple long stitches.
