Marmalade
Marmalade's story
Hello, my name is Marmalade. My sister Samantha and I were born on a building site and lived under the workmen's hut. When we were about five weeks old our mother did not come back for us. We were hungry and frightened so we ventured out of our nest for the first time. The workmen fed us scraps from their sandwiches. We played around piles of bricks. One day while we were doing this someone picked us up and took us to a place where there were lots of other cats. We searched but our mother wasn't there. We met someone who said that my sister and I could stay together and she took us to Ladyshield. I remember getting an awful cold, something called cat flu. My new mum took me to the vet. He said I probably wouldn't "make it" and should go to a place called "sleep". My new mum got very upset and said I wasn't going there! We went home instead. I had lots of medicine and really liked it. My new mum said I was an odd kitten! I slowly got better and now I am just a happy little fellow who loves to purr. |
